My latest submission to Illustration Friday for the topic of "Dusty." I had this idea because sometimes I think everyone can feel like their heads are a little bit dusty from all the things going on in life swimming around in their heads. I think it is sometimes it is necessary to "brush away the cobwebs" and clear you mind. I would appreciate any feedback on layout and visual literacy in this piece as I have experimented with the text and composition a little.
My original idea for the Deja-vu title in this week's Illustration Friday hasn't quite worked itself out yet, and may take some more time, so for now I've produced this little fish. I'm sure that if goldfish truly do have such a short memory that in all likelihood they think they are experiencing deja-vu quite often. Or at least I would like to think so.
My first submission to Illustration Friday for the new year. I have chosen to illustrate an owl flying towards a star as tawny owls seem significant in my life at the moment (strangely) and I was recently advised to be more confident and go for what I want (a cheesy sentiment, perhaps)....but this is my Resolution for the new year.
